Mr. Durgeswar Roy from Bongaigaon Assam is an old Vipassana student having his long full term continuous experience of Vipassana Medition since 1995, He has been completed 23 Vipassana Meditation course under S .N goenka, with two long course and 6 satipatthana course and 1 teacher self course and 14 times 10 day vipassana course with a children training teacher course and six time dhamma seva. He is an executive of the Buddha Educational Foundation Trust that started the “Jnano Vijoyee Dhama Jatra” the path of wining the wisdom.
He was born in a poor hindu familly who practised worship of god and goddess and animal sacrifice. He had a curiosity to know the real truth in religious activities. So, in search of real and ultimate truth he had made a long time concentration over the comparative studies of all the religious sacred books during his service life. Then he found some are imaginary truth, some are apparent truth, and some are real and ultimate truth. He found some are man made religion, some are institutional religion, some are traditional religion. and some are naturel law base religion. Most of the religions are not scientific/ Buddha did not established a religion. He discovered the law of nature, the religion of nature, the natural mental purification process for real peace and happiness of the humanity. At last, after his 10 years of comparative studies of all religious sacred books, he embraced Buddhism in 1993. and culminated freedom from inequality, castism, inhumanity, and freedom from imaginary philosophy and darkness of blind faith.
