MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Respected Brothers and sisters !

Mr Durgeswar Roy, Director, BEF

Though we are living in different philosophy, in different religions, yet we have the same ambition, same intension. We all want peace and happiness. We all want to satisfy our ego. We all want heavenly peace and happiness. Naturally we all are developed modern human being, after a long time natural evolution from the animal type early man stage. Naturally our physical structure and mental concomitances are common to all. Our body parts, like bone, blood, heart, liver, kidney, etc. all are common to all. Our hungry, thirsty, sleeping, sorrowfulness, happiness all are common to all. Even we all are under the same natural process in the same world, like birth, old age, feeling diseases, death, tension, unhappiness, un-satisfactoriness, cravings etc. We all are with the same mental factors, same body molecules, same heart process, same mental process. So naturally we all are same brothers and sisters. But in the name of man made religious faith, we are different. We remained different, different community, different sect, different faith, And we create fighting, war, among us. In the human history, we get the history of war, killing, fighting, bloodshed, among the brothers. The history of peace, wisdom, the history of enlightenment is very rare. But, as we are modern human being in the modern society, with modern scientific equipments, we need real development of humanity, real peace and happiness, real harmony and real scientific human religion. Though we are living in a modern scientific society, with modern accessories and equipments yet, most of us are living with old blind faith and running after cravings, running after material wealth, power and prestige and sensual pleasure. They use religion as their blind safeguard, as their political tool, or as their opium. They believe an external supreme power without knowing it practically or logically or scientifically. But Buddha the greatest scientist discovered the mystery of natural truth of mind and matter, the body and the mind, the ultimate science of body and mind, elements of body, the molecules, Kolapas, the tiny atomic particles formation, arising and dissolving within the fraction of the millisecond. He discovered the three properties of nature. He discovered the behaviour of mind, the flow of consciousness, citta, cetasika, and its concomitances, behaviour of 121 kinds of cittas, 52 kinds of cetasikas. formation and dissolution of cittas within the trillionth of a second, flow of cittas, cetacikas, consciousness of five organs, consciousness, perception, feelings and reaction, ultimately mental and ego formation process. He discovered the function of four elements of our body and life continuum process. So His teaching is not a merely imaginary religious teaching. He taught the law of nature to earn real peace and happiness. He taught the natural process for tension-full unhappy mind purification. Everything is the result of something, Nothing happens without cause and condition. Whatever the laws discovered by the scientists are nothing but natural law. There are physical law, biological law, thermodynamic law, karmic law etc. The nature have some fixed laws. like– 1. Physical Law 2. Biological Law, 3. Psychic Law. 4. Karmic or Moral Law. 5. Law of Cause and Effect. Buddha preached Abhidhamma the ultimate truth of science of Namo Rupa, the Body and Mind, reality or truth of humanity. Scientific way of evolution and purification of humanity. He preached the natural truth the four noble truth. The eightfold path. He taught that one can earn peace and happiness within himself, by himself, without depending on any other external energy. One can achieve Buddhahood and Nibbana, freedom from worldly bonding, highest peace and happiness. Unfortunately some intellectuals, even some science students, some doctors and some engineers, even some scientists also believe on an imaginary external power. But, practically, they do not know nothing about that imaginary external power. They follow their ancestral imagination and do believe only. Buddha smiles, that some people believe god and goddess, some people believe a supreme God, but some people do not believe on that at all. Somebody are extremely busy in sensual power and pleasure, somebody are in mortification, but nobody are developing in natural truth. He defined the middle path. There may or may not be God or goddess. Though there may or may not be god and goddess, though there may or may not be a supreme God, then, in any condition, there is no problem at all. Follow the middle path. Do not run after neither mortification, nor after worldly sensual pleasure. Do not run after future or past, try to live in present. In middle, there is a noble eightfold path which can lead one to the highest extend of humanity, the highest evolution of mankind, to the supreme bliss, supreme peace and happiness, supreme wisdom. One can make himself freedom from sorrow, unhappiness, cravings, hatred, tension, anxiety, restlessness, rage, and from all negativity, and even from diseases and death, without depending on any other external power. For that He preached noble and scientific Vipassana Meditation.

Through Vipassana meditation one can realise the actual truth of his ego, body and mind, five division of Namo Rup ie life continuant, three characters of natural law that impact in our body and mind. One can realise the truth of the theory of dependent origination that the newton’s third law not only limited with material science, but it works in mental field also. Through Vipassana one can realise the truth of great relation between mind and body ie matter. Relation between energy and matter. Buddha discovered this theory 2600 years ago without any instrument and the modern scientist have accepted it to day based on their instrumental laboratory test and established the transmutation theory. Scientist are scientist in material science only, but they may not be able to achieve wisdom, may not be attained to the highest peace of buddhahood.

Let us remember a great statement given by a great scientist.

A cosmic religion : The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description.

– Albert Einstein.

Let the modern human society take care of themselves for noble world peace and happiness and think for the next generation. Let them think with scientific temperament and make noble judgement so that they can earn world peace and happiness within themselves and can live a peaceful, happy life, without hatred, war, without killing, without stealing, without adultery, without lying, without intoxicating, and without sacrificing animal or human in the name of religion. Let the human being be wise, full of loving kindness and avoid quarrel, hatred, exploitation. Let them develop humanity and follow brotherhood fraternity and follow scientific natural human religion for real world peace. Let them save nature and all other living beings for ecological balance. Natural and ecological unbalance may threaten the survival of human race. Let them emphasis over the humanity rather than personal religious dogma. Let them try to give something to the society as maximum as possible as they can, and let them take something from the society as minimum as they need. Let them all be a good producer and nobody remained as an idle consumer only. Every individual has an important value to the society and nobody is an unwanted burden to the society. Naturally we all are one and we want a peaceful world. Oneness is more important in this universal voidness. The whole world is burning with fire of hatred, cravings unrest and tension,. We want a Buddha. We want a Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. we want peace, happiness, loving kindness, equality and humanity.

Let all living beings be happy !

Durgeswar Roy.
